What to Expect:

  • Knowledge Development: Dive into the fundamentals of scuba diving through engaging multimedia presentations and interactive sessions. Learn about dive equipment, underwater environments, dive planning, and safety procedures using official PADI eLearning materials. Our experienced instructors will make learning both informative and enjoyable, setting the stage for your underwater adventures.

  • Confined Water Dives: Take the plunge in our heated pool, providing optimal comfort as you practice essential scuba skills. Get comfortable with buoyancy control, regulator use, and underwater communication. These sessions provide the foundation for your open water dives, building confidence and competence in your diving abilities.

  • Open Water Dives: Explore the enchanting underwater world during four exhilarating open water dives. Under the guidance of our certified instructors, you'll apply your newfound skills and knowledge in real diving scenarios. From vibrant coral reefs to captivating marine life, each dive promises unforgettable encounters and breathtaking vistas.

  • Certification: Upon successful completion of the course, you'll earn the prestigious PADI Open Water Diver certification, recognized worldwide. This credential opens doors to endless diving opportunities, allowing you to dive independently with a buddy to depths of up to 18 meters (60 feet).

Course Prerequisites:

  • Be able to pass basic medical screening.

  • Float or tread water without aid for 10 minutes.

  • Swim 200 meters with no aid & no time restriction.

  • Age 10 - 99 (Divers certified between the ages of 10-14 earn a Junior Diver certification)​

Included in the Price:

  • Genuine PADI e-Learning materials.

  • Free equipment rental.

  • Certification fee with PADI.

  • Air fills during the course.

Not Included:

  • Transport to and from the training venues.

  • Overnight accommodation if required.

  • Dive site entry fees.

ASD PADI Open Water Diver Package

​Embark on your diving journey with confidence through our comprehensive 1:1 PADI Open Water Diver Package.

Here's what's included:

  • PADI Discover Scuba Diving eLearning and experience: Begin with a 15-minute eLearning session to introduce you to the world of scuba diving. You'll have the option to complete this session at your own pace or join us at the pool.

  • PADI Open Water Diver eLearning: Dive deeper into theory and knowledge with our eLearning package, giving you the flexibility to learn at your own pace.

  • PADI Open Water Diver 1:1 confined learning dives x 4: Enjoy personalized instruction as you undertake four confined water sessions, tailored to your progress and comfort level.

  • PADI Open Water Diver open water 1:1 qualification dives x 4: Put your skills to the test with four open water qualification dives, guided by our experienced instructors.

  • Customized timescales are available upon request if weekly sessions don't suit your schedule.

Optional In-Person Learning: For an additional £200, opt for in-person learning with 1:1 sessions with a staff member, held once a week in between pool sessions.​
